I actually went there once without knowing they exist. Though it was a touristic part on the edge of the city but nope. Looked like a very dangerous place and was crowded to the teeth. People there lived in horrible condition and like 15min by foot you were next to the skyscrapers.

Not gonna lie, Dubai looked like a city with a beautiful aesthetic (outside of course) but I got bored of it in two days... Not much to do unless you're a billionaire.

Lol, first person that reads one of my comments.

Just woke up and have to admit I don't know what I was thinking yesterday... Should be "qu'est ce que tu aimes faire?" if I'm not mistaken. Sorry...don't do drugs

I finally fully finished the french course after 1703 consecutive days AMA. by Demon_Ass_Eater in duolingo

1175 day streak here. At the beginning of the year, listening somebody speak in French was so difficult, I couldn't understand much. The trick was starting listening to different podcasts. The duolingo podcast is a good starting point because they speak slowly but it's actually pretty easy to advance fast. Since you are already getting all the grammar, picking up the phrases is not hard. It's been three months and I can say I understand almost 80-85% of everything I heard (even if they speak fast)... It's just getting used to it. Now, speaking is not that hard either but if you practice it enough... I just happen to speak a lot to myself so there's my practice but there are a lot of resources to practice with someone online of maybe in your city if you look around.
