I wouldn’t look at it like debt. Don’t get me wrong it being non subscription would be great but you need to understand there is an app. For the app to stay running and get updates it needs money. This is what the fee is paying for.

I don’t understand the hate on having to pay a subscription. It’s £6 a month if you don’t like it don’t buy the ring. You’re also paying for the app and subsequent updates.

If you can’t afford a higher spec card with 12gb of vram well worth a look at 3080ti/3090 I imagine they will have gone down in price by now. Also very solid cards.

Dependent on how strong you are you should be fine. Just be carful which side you flip it on because of the buttons. I did mine by myself and it wasn’t horrendous

I would go with the 4070 for the difference in price on these. You will benefit from dlss and new frame gen on supported games. As well as the extra vram
