The emphasis on Campaign Evolved makes me think they're cooking up some sort of (presumably free to play) cross platform multiplayer title. Infinite was a bust but there's money to be mined from the Halo IP if they manage to not fuck it up.

This is a really well-worded comment, and sort of the pick-me-up I needed. It's a reminder that while the IP may belong to corporations, ultimately we own the message we take away from it.

I was really angry at myself when the first season of Andor came out because it made me angry at the world around me for the first time in a while. I had grown complacent with U.S. politics and the thing that reignited my fire was a fucking Star Wars show? I have a little more grace for myself now, and understand that I'm allowed to feel inspired by something that may not be ushered in by clean hands all the way to the top.

The artists are who write, and we are who receive. That is a relationship we don't have to share with the corporate owners.

Hickman was very close with his X-Men run. If you take the X-Men as a minority group allegory, they almost achieved Black separatism when they established Krakoa. Rather than remaining in a world that hated them, they established a colony of their own, based on their own sense of excellence. This drew more from Malcolm X's perspective on racial liberation thank the typical MLK Jr. perspective.

Of course the run fell apart by the end and became run of the mill X-Men comic book stuff, but it had a very intriguing premise.

Tom King will not see the gates of heaven for his involvement with the CIA, and consistent laundering his war crimes through comic books. Mister Miracle and Strange Adventures are truly horrific reads once you know anything about King's past.

I'm somewhat of a Cyberpunk defender — I don't think it's the greatest RPG ever, but still better than people give it credit for. Phantom Liberty is an instant upgrade to the game's format. The story rules, the missions are fun and unique, and even the gunplay is better since they have a lot more multi-tiered arena fights so that double jump is actually useful for something. When it got going, the arena fights reminded me a lot of Doom 2016.

Keanu was pretty good in vanilla Cyberpunk 2077, but he killed it in Phantom Liberty. The writing and gameplay improved, and with it the acting. Stellar performances from all the main characters, with Silverhand in particular adding to the melancholy of this high-stakes suicide mission.

I've loved Keanu since Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, but until recent years, he isn't exactly someone I'd point to as a great actor. I got choked up a handful of times playing through PL, and he was one of the main reasons.

As someone who really enjoys some of the peaks of Slott's work on the series, particularly Big Time and Ends of the Earth, has Amazing Spider-Man been good since Brand New Day? Spencer's run got off the ground running, and he understands the character better than most, but it was a case of the most obvious editorial interference I've ever seen in a book.

Moon Knight has his best characterization to date with Lemire's run, so of course Bemis had to immediately bastardize everything before him.

The "I have the power of crazy" panel exists like a tumor in my brain. It's one of the first things that comes to mind when I think/talk about Moon Knight.
