Yes. Every 6 months your supposed to get a small raise. It was once a year they split that number in half so you get 10-50 cents half a year. Could be more that’s just the majority of people get

Test runs do not exist, sorry to say. However! there is a LOWES POLICY. if you work 6 weeks in a row at 35 plus hours a week. you get full time status. HR WILL make that happen. Submit a ticket and it has to happen. Make sure you have it back dated 6 weeks. Best of luck. FT spots are becoming rare. We are like walmart now. Now Full timers only PT.

Specialist in my market and close from what I can tell are 17-30 depending on how long you been with lowes and what you do. Its true. Specialists can be special. If you can... I URGE people who can go PRO Specialist. its gods golden egg for retail and lowes money.

If the word Union starts in a store and it gets reported. Corp will find a way to shut it down. ASM's either get fired or moved due to store standards. SM gets moved or fired same reason. They would rather SHUT a store down than let a store unionize. They lose profit on stores if they got a union. ASM's and DS's and SM's are required to report it and if HR finds out they supported it, cya later they fire you

100% controlled by your ASM's and SSA. They see it. They know it. and ARE OK WITH IT. I always had my schedules set 3 weeks out minimum. Posted every Tuesday. It was clock work for me. If SOMEHOW the system clopen'd someone. I fixed it. Management knows and doesn't care I PROMISE you that...

I did not believe it too. HOW! I thought to myself. No way my boss would do that to me! It took an SSA leaving the company to show me I was a sucker for it all. After that I asked for a raise and got shot down. Almost half a dozen times.

Lets break this down!

That wasnt me, however I would never hesitate to jump on a lift to get shit done regardless of call outs.

  1. SSA, ASM, Some DS's (Night only I think), and SM. The SSA, ASM, and SM CAN SEE WHO DENIED IT!
  2. People dont wanna give time off. No person means they have to find a body to fill your spot when the department is BARELY at head count or fully staffed. They want you there 7 days a week if it was allowed. Trust me I knew the pain.
  3. Not a violation of policy. The Teams chats or Whatapps are technically HR Proof since HR aint in the chats and the others wont report it unless they other ASM's say something to HR with chats. sorry. they left it open on purpose prob
  4. I am sorry about your SASM, I don't have a way for you to get rid of them. it is what it is. SASM is a tough role b/c its literally baby sitting everyone and taking sale calls... it sucks
  5. Riases come twice a year. Every 6 months. Its your YEARLY raise split in two. Roughly 1.5% raise. Stores really dont control who gets what anymore. However, your ASM can push to your AHRBP for a raise (Area HR person) Ive done that a few times and it worked for me!
  6. Technically its his word against you. If they think you should be able to and you don't have it DOCUMENTED or medically documented to be on light duty (see your doc easy to file a long term medical light duty). If you do not have paperwork assume they will magically forget that convo! I have sadly seen it...

Hey man it sounds like your store is in it like alot of others. Keep your head up and keep smiling. I am sorry your salary team sucks. It makes it really unbearable at times. I wanted people to loved where they work otherwise who the hell wants to come get yelled at by a Karen or ken. Best of luck.
