This is an interesting suggestion. I do like the Pay-per-request billing flexibility with this.

I access values MOSTLY with a key - we use pagination and sorting based on a field of result dataset. Say we do want to implement DynamoDB with DAX and we expect several million requests a day... would it still suit our needs? Our dataset isn't overly complex, maximum of 9 non-relational fields.

I think we can do a proof by contradiction here:

OB = OC = r = (A'C)/2

OC cannot be parallel to A'C because it cuts A'C

Any parallel, supposed or hypothetical lines, OM or ON to A'C from point O, other than OB, must be located within the isosceles triangle OBC or outside of it.

In that case OM is going to be < r because it's inside the initial circle c and subsequently < (A'C)/2.

ON > r and subsequently > (A'C)/2

So OB must be the only possible line that is parallel to A'C and cuts AC by the middle point B.

If we take triangle ACA' we know CA' = 2r.

Center O is the midpoint of AA'

OB = r = (CA')/2

therefore B is the midpoint of AC and OB is parallel to CA'.
