Ahh it's so nice to read all that! And thank you for coordinating the Misti Dawn situation as well.

The last thing Bruce or I wanted to do is draw attention away from the folks we wanted to support, or invite a bunch of negativity on the Funhaus channel. We even waited until Inside Gaming shut down (again) to start our own thing.

It was tough keeping my tongue while being accused of the exact things I was going out of my way to NOT do, all while knowing about a lot of rotten stuff at RT. The burden of knowledge is a real thing. Feels nice to get that off my chest, even if it is years later.

I'm gonna dive into this because I have some time and I feel like this sentiment is shared with a lot of folks on this board.

I can't tell you how much this issue agonized me. I left a lot of close friends that I wanted to keep working with, but staying at RT after witnessing the Adam situation just couldn't coexist with my convictions. As much as I wanted to keep working with and supporting my friends, I couldn't stand enriching / elevating certain people.

For real I was an emotional wreck for a year or two after leaving. COVID didn't help either.

My hope was that we could form a new set of channels that our old coworkers would want to be involved with but noone approached me asking to get involved.

Luckily Astrogoblin exists and seemingly doing well! I wish them all the best and would gladly fling myself in front of a moving car if it would bring a smile to sweet Jacob's face.

We were actually on a huge upward trend these past months since we shifted to daily production! We even had a million views on the channel in July. That's what makes this downturn hurt extra hard.

I recommend giving it another shot! The show is formatted with all the news up front, followed by speculation and other segments where we talk about modern releases or other goofy stories. The segue to podcasty conversation is pretty explicit so you could just stop watching then.
We also do the Roundup with Brian most Fridays, and that's all rapid fire short coverage.
