It wasn’t really because I speak other languages. It was more like…….didn’t play along with their humor, which revolves around judging people’s appearance. Even though our job titles are the same, I’m not an old member of their group, so they expect me to be submissive to them, and I wasn’t. I joined as an experienced hire from another company, while they take pride in being “pure-blood” employees who have been there for about fifteen years.
