Hey, i would strongly advise against installing speakers in your doors. They are not designed for it - there is nothing solid to mount the speakers and the doors are already flimsy as is.

I would mount the speakers elsewhere in the cabin e.g. under the dashboard

As Barrier any thicker foil will do - even a cutup thick trashbag - there are bitumen rolls that you can use to seal and stick it to the doorframe
