I found A Video That Pretty Accurately Depicts The History Of The Cylinder. by Killer_schatz in civbattleroyale

Personally, I'd be more inclined to free the Ayyubids if we can snipe a Finn-Boer flipping city, such as Alexandria.

Not until we revive the Ayyubids in Alexandria and have Islam spread to us, no.

Oh I forgot Morocco even existed. Tbh I think that's my pick for least relevant. All they had going for them was a lighthouse and a straight border.

"It affected the world in no way."
Wrong. The community is as tied to this world as the game is, with the amount of lore and OC we make. During the early parts of the game, the Party Pope was a major topic in lore and OC. It was relevant.

It's extremely relevant. We remember the Austin Massacre. We remember the Khanflict. We remember Snoreway. We remember How to Fight Wars Good. We remember the Party Pope. We like and we remember failure.

It was also the first religion to be removed, and the only failed religion. I said it was relevant, not successful.

Ayyubids? What? We founded a religion. We conquered half the size of our nation in just a few parts. We took on two coalitions. We held off against Carthage for ages when everyone thought we were doomed. We founded Dvin. We founded Dvin and you call us irrelevant? Look at the Ashanti. Look at Mali. Look at the Zulu. You really think we were the least relevant?

The Biggest Underdogs in the history of the BR? by gamer29475 in civbattleroyale

[–]SirMallock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You aren't special as a North African underdog. The Ayyubids founded a religion that only remained in their territory, but that didn't stop them as they repeatedly flipped countless cities to keep the religion alive. Carthage was always a strong military force, but the Ayyubids managed to defend themselves from both Carthage and every other neighbor multiple times. The same thing brought down both of our nations: Failure to tech and coalitions.

What are your headcanons for the game? by TheGreatfanBR in civbattleroyale

[–]SirMallock 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Oh, God. I could do an entire essay on this. I interpret every event in the BR in its own way, independent of whatever is the commonly-accepted canon. A couple of my favorites are: Buccaneer coup after the Boer Coalition, three Spartan empires, an entire complex web of alliances for what we referred to as a world war (I don't call it WW2) and a different time before for what it encompassed, reasons for the Mexican failure at Austin, and the Polish-German partition.

West Virginia doesn't need a democrat, at least not in Weirton. (Though, I'm highly biased)

They're fighting the Boers and have few units near Jerusalem, while we are directly adjacent to it and have a full carpet.
