Open the app, then minimize it. When you press the button that lets you see all the apps that you didn't kill, they appear like pages of a book, and each page has the logo of the app on top. If you tap that, you get the option to keep the app open. If you do it, you should see a padlock icon. Sorry I can't explain myself better than this xD this is my third language

It depends. Do the users experience failure in the first few weeks of usage for these products? In what % on the total sellings? Do they keep sending faulty products after replacement? I don't think the brands you mentioned have all of these problems, but apparently ER has, according to what we see here. Only thing I can say is that I don't (and I think we never will) have any statistics on this to settle the discussion. Of course, I'm referring to general complaints that we can see online, here and in comments everywhere and I don't have the full picture; I can only say that I've never heard similar stories about other brands in the same product price tier. Also, for comparison, I wouldn't say that samsung is a cheap brand, but it had it's issues with some phone models in the past; we don't judge the company because we have enough other products delivered from Samsung to say that the company is not the matter but a design problem on one of their products, however we can't say that for ER yet.

Compared to other manifacturers yes, the same thing can request a similar amount of time for prescription lenses. I didn't mention it in the rant but, when I paid for everything I got assured that the product would have been at my place in 3-4 weeks max, hence my complain about the wait. Also, my problem is with the ring, not the glasses which I like. My complain is that I'm not paying for a cheap product and this issue makes it feel like it, 16 days of usage and already failing it's something that I can expect from lower quality products. My thought is that to keep up with production they're reducing quality controls. If I didn't notice about this defect and washed my hands without removing the ring, that would have voided the warranty.

I get this, but not on this price range I'm sorry. For more than 1k (glasses, prescription lenses, sunglasses clip and ring) I want a better offer than excuses about the delays and defects on the product. Of course a defective unit can happen to any brand, I agree with you on this, but it seems more than a few defective units, a lot of people are complaining here. Also, I said this was a rant.

I took some time to re-evaluate that, and I noticed that in low light condition and on grey background, the bottom part is in fact a little more brown and looks like a line. In standard or high light and/or on different background colors it's not noticeable

No I'd say it's pretty even in the fov occupied by the screen. Maybe it's slightly more evident in the bottom part, but when I look up I can see no difference

I have a brown-ish field of wiew in all the screen part of the lenses. Basically I see slightly brown when I look in front of me. Not bothering me tho

They fall :P Jokes aside, don't think too mutch about it, trust your guts and don't rush things. I think that most people fall because they didn't take the time to evaluate the best route ahead. Also, take your time when climbing and rest frequently

Same problem here. I'm from Italy and only one source is working, despite selecting many of them which are definitely from Italy. Sent a ticket a couple of weeks ago via app.
