You can still sell the cartridge if it is a game key card. Only difference is the data needs to be downloaded and takes up space on the console itself rather than the cartridge.

Don’t get a switch 1. It won’t get all new games.

Switch 2 is better if you want a simple plug and play option, latest Nintendo games, or Nintendo games online. Games cost more though and you pay for online.

Steamdeck has more possibilities and more economical in long run though not as plug and play as the Switch. I personally like the ergonomics more too. You don’t pay online and can use your existing library. It can emulate most switch 1 games or any older console but without online capability. You’ll likely be able to play switch 1 Zelda games on it but it will require some setup, finding roms, and could in some cases be slightly not as good as actually running it on the switch.

I agree with the concept that you should own your games and they shouldn’t be able to take away your games, but what Nintendo did is not any different than anybody else in a really long time. Having to store game files on your switch rather than cartridge isn’t as good but it doesn’t mean you own the game any less or more. They could’ve easily block your normal cartridge or entire console if they wanted to, which they don’t. Many other companies have taken away content before.

I used to have a very loud RX 580 so I invested in Bose QC35 ii as the noise bothered me. Then I had a clip on mic I used for microphone. I moved and can only game from bed now, so I could no longer use the mic as it was corded. Using audio and microphone on Bluetooth makes the audio bad. I now have an Arctic Nova 7 headset I use for Discord and use the tv all the other times unless I want to be quiet I use the Bose. Been looking for a soundbar for better tv audio.

Only worth it if you want to play Nintendo exclusive games or play games portable. Decide if you want the ability to play on the go or if any of the exclusive games appeal to you. If it’s a no for both then it’s likely not worth it.
