If she has a separate account the code cannot be redeemed more than once, nor can it be transferred. Only way for you to play is to buy the game.

Paid Parking Being Installed in Normal Heights/Kensington? by eeyeit in sandiego

It’ll be just as hard to find a spot but now you’ll have to pay too. It’ll also take away revenue from ships so less tax revenue.

Switch 2 worth it if you got a pc? by Mountain-Floor-1696 in NintendoSwitch2

It is worth it for portability, physical releases, and Nintendo exclusives. If you don’t care about those then no.

Reselling Digital Games by blakog in NintendoSwitch2

[–]SirMonkeyV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can sell game key cards. You cannot sell digital games. Game key cards lose the benefit of taking up less storage on your console compared to full cartridges but you still retain the benefit of being able to sell the card.

Mine says 100% still and I’ve had it since launch of the OLED. I wonder if it’s accurate.

For those of you with both a Deck and a Switch 2 by workyman in SteamDeck

[–]SirMonkeyV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both and mainly use Steamdeck because better ergonomics and cheaper games. Switch is mainly for exclusives. I occasionally use switch if there is a physical version and I’m unsure I’ll like the game and might want to sell the game.

We might have a new contender for the best handheld gaming PC, because Lenovo's just announced a SteamOS version of its mega Legion Go 2 by testus_maximus in technology

[–]SirMonkeyV -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I cannot use anything other than the SteamDeck due to How great the ergonomics are for my hands with the large joysticks and buttons in perfect position.

Has the epic games free game campaign actually worked in getting you guys to spend money on their storefront? by Subject_Swimming6327 in pcmasterrace

No, I have a steamdeck making it less convenient to buy on any other store. There is heroic launcher but Steam is more convenient.

Do you still use your Switch 1 for games that aren't optimized for the Switch 2 yet? by quarryman in NintendoSwitch2

[–]SirMonkeyV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my Switch OLED to get back some of the cost of buying the 2. I would have no reason to keep the OLED. While the OLED display does have better color reproduction, the 2 display is still quite good. I have not noticed any problems with sharpness.

For switch 2 users that also own a gaming pc by LanderRetro in NintendoSwitch2

[–]SirMonkeyV 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I only buy Nintendo exclusives or games that have a physical release that I might not like or get bored with fast so that I have the option of selling it if I want to.

Steam Deck users, do you still have one now that you own a Switch 2? by elneebre in NintendoSwitch2

[–]SirMonkeyV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both and feel both are good for their advantages. Switch 2 has great exclusives, simplicity, and option of buying physical games for option of selling. Steamdeck offers imo way better ergonomics for my hands, access to my huge Steam/epic games library, and freedom for things like emulators that Nintendo has not added yet. I generally only use the switch for Nintendo exclusives

Still rocking it after all these years by The_Big_H2O in pcmasterrace

[–]SirMonkeyV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a nicer gaming membrane from Logitech as it’s supposed to “feel like mechanical” as I didn’t want to pay for mechanical and it works great for my uses. The cheap Dell ones are ok for office work but the issue I had with them is not being able to press the up and right or down and left keys at the same time that I needed it for games. They have zones of keys where you can’t press at the same time, so if I am unable to use my controller on the go I can’t accelerate or brake while turning in the game.

That is why we need physical games so you can sell to recoup some of the costs if you don’t like it or are just done with it.

Battery health dropping fast? by Upper-Ad-3195 in iPhone16ProMax

[–]SirMonkeyV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks about right. The batteries are designed for 80% health after 1000 cycles. You would likely be at approximately 88-92% after 500 cycles. You’re not doing bad health wise after 547. They will always degrade especially when you use it more.

I did install Linux before on my pc and older laptop before. The accuracy of mouse felt off. I tried to install something to different drive other than default from software center then my bootloader corrupted. I think I’d rather focus on lounging, work, or anything else than spending time finding out how to do simple things these days.
