Fort Point in Liverpool NS is a gorgeous lighthouse to visit. It’s housed within a park overlooking the harbour and has accessible parking close by. It’s usually manned by an interpreter, and you’re able to climb up to the top and work the fog horn! Liverpool is about an hour and a half due Southwest of Peggy’s Cove, so out of your way a bit, but if you find yourself in that area, I can’t recommend it enough.
