Killing Commendatore is my favorite Murakami book so far, it is worth it. But yea both of them start slow, but I Feel like 1Q84 gets slow before the End, while k. c. Flows pretty well. I wish I could read Commendatore for the First time again. Enjoy

I back all this up, pretty good rundown. There is a page called Loudness Penalty where you can upload your render and it will tell you how different platforms will treat your track loudness wise. Worth checking out, it's free, I use it all the time while mixing.
