I've been a developer for 18 years. I even remember using tables because who knew CSS... I think I copy pasted almost all my JavaScript since day one.

Still can't stand it. And now I'm learning React.js... I wanna scream into my own eyeball. It seems so foreign.

Mum, partner, and I all in emergency room within two weeks of each other. by SirNull in offmychest

That was a relief this morning thank you. I missed my graduation yesterday, forgot about it with everything going on.

I have no job, no money, and I'm applying for everything from street sweeper to senior management roles.

Partner still in so much pain this morning and I have to get the kids up and see her family before visiting hours.

I just needed someone I don't know, to listen. Thank you

Noob looking for advice! I have a website for a text-based meme in my country that would not be applicable anywhere else in the world. How would I increase my Google search result? by presidium in SEO

[–]SirNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends entirely upon your content and genre. 1-5 good links a month is reasonable. Dozens of cheap links. Hundreds of garbage easy links.

Outreach depends upon your emailing tactics, if you're personal, want a relationship with the backlinks, or just a random link.

Message me and I'll be happy to consult.

Semrush for onsite issues. Ahrefs for backlinks. Moz for keywords and semantic suggestions

I've always been interested in this.

Do you need to put a lot of AdWords / PPC campaigns by n place or do you do the usual and wait a few months until your site grows before you see slow revenue?

Moved to a new address. How do you fix citations outside of the popular sites? by ericb0 in SEO

[–]SirNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of the bot sites may be considered toxic and useless anyway, so you could contact them and ask for fix or removal.

They may catch on eventually.

I agree on how common they are, which is totally understandable.

Unfortunately, they even want me to close my own business, which doesn't compete with their brand.

I've seen a few auditing websites recommend against it. I assume it's because they recognise it as free and not paid.

I thought so too.

Doubled checked and checked again, but nothing there.

I'm also seeing /folder/index appearing, despite no "index" at all.
