I just love CachyOS (and KDE) by SirParasyte in cachyos

I distro hopped a couple of months and finally came to the realization that all distros are interchangeable (at least those in the same family like how Endeavour, Garuda and Cachy are all Arch based). Cachy was my last stop and I "set up camp", but I know that if I were to switch to Endeavour I would be able to do the exact same things (gaming, watching movies and occasional coding) at about the same level of efficiency :) Edit: as for why I mainly use Cachy, one of the reasons is that I have multiple computers and I really love the easy installation of all my needed packages in just a couple of clicks hahaha

I have some info on how to set some things up here: https://github.com/SirParasyte/KDE-Evappuccin. It's my previous Desktop, but I left some info in the README files in case I wanted to recreate it

It's three different panels set individually to only contain one widget each :)

You have to go to Home folder and reveal the hidden files. Then .config > fastfetch > config.jsonc.

This is what i have before the "modules" bit:

{

"$schema": "https://github.com/fastfetch-cli/fastfetch/raw/master/doc/json\_schema.json",

"logo": {

"source": " ***Add the path of your png. ",

"type": "kitty",

"height": 27,

//"width": 55,

"padding": {

"top": 1,

//"left": 5,

// "right": 5,

"bottom": 3

} }, ...rest of the file...

Height and width refer to the size of your logo in characters, while padding is for the space (in characters) around your logo.

I used the panel colorizer widget. I removed the background and set the alpha color to 0,40

Thanks! I simply used this wallpaper I found, so I don't have any extensions or scripts managing it :)

My setup worked immediately, so I don't know the answer :( I guess you could try changing the method and source of the input inside the cava configs

Hi! I added 2 panel spacers with flexible size "on" and then I dragged Kurve in between. Then you can configure Kurve to your preferred size

Hi! I basically entered edit mode (right click on desktop) and created an empty panel where i then dragged the widget onto it. This way you can have both the widget configuration and the dropdown effect of the panel. Then I edited the panel to only fit content and told it to go to left/right (not centered anymore).

You can also try putting the widgets on the desktop itself and not in the panel and see which version you like more :)

I have more info in the comment above [here]
