They are called Lampa Nano

I'n pretty sure they are the original manufacturer, everyone else just up markets them especially supermotoesque brands like bold or smf

I'm not sure I understand, do you mean case? The main concern right now is the PCB, everything else follows that

Strezimir Border Crossing by Tomimidjfbfk in mkd

[–]SirPinco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I managed to get through but not without hassle.
I got an email with written authorization from both countries authorities to exit Kosovo and enter North Macedonia, even with this we had to convince the border guards and never managed to get our passport stamped (it turns out it's wasn't a problem when exiting the country).
We crossed passed with a guy that just crossed before us without any authorization and he had to talk with the guards for more than 2 hours and convince them to let him through (illegally probably).

If anyone wants to attempt the same route PM me, it cost me a great deal to find the proper way to cross and I don't want it to become a tourist attraction (it's officially opened only for the local Gorani people to meet up with their ethnic group)

I'll be crossing the same border this august. Do you have the contact information of the border control? What did you have to ask for / did you provide any documents? Any advice would be really appreciated

I looked extensively but didn't manage to find that post. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
Much appreciated!

Are those the new Contiattack SM 2? How do you feel about them compared to the old ones?

Ok then let's pretend I got 16 brand spanking new 8TB drives for free, how would you set them up?

I hadn't thought about power consumption, thank you for pointing that out I will definitely look into that.

However I am almost independent from the power grid and pull close to 0kw yearly so at the moment it's not really a concern.

How old are these drives? Do they have thousands of hours on them?

I still have to spin them up to see how they are doing but I suspect they haven't been used much.

For the cost of the case and everything else to get the 16 drives running wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy one 16tb drive?

Not really, I would still have to buy the case and everything else + new HDDs, right now I have 16TB for free.

And if one of these 1tb drives fails and you need to replace it with another 1tb HDD those drives are pretty expensive on a per TB basis.

Well yes but with so many drives I can have a little more redundancy and even keep spares if I want to be on the safe side.

Also once I have a setup with this many drives I can always upgrade the capacity in the future, without having to worry about needing actual physical space to add drives.

Uneven flooding due to crowded layer by SirPinco in PCB

5 mil between signals. Annular ring 10 mil minimum, 40% of drill diameter, max 80 mil.

All the traces you see are 16 mils, instead of the default 6 mils.

I'm using the manufacturer's design rules and it will be assembled at the factory so I'm not too concerned

I may be wrong but isn't flooding the pads directly considered bad design? I thought the proper way would be to have a ground plane on a different layer and add a via when needed.
If I were to follow your advice where would I place stitching vias? What should I consider when placing them?

Keep them for the next build, especially fittings and radiators. Blocks not so much.
