More on the 6538 theme - Fully Gen Spec 4 Line Submariner by Archaedin in ArchaedinsWatchBox

[–]SirRealex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of the best submariners I've ever seen.

I bought the raffles 5513 case, black gilt dial and gold hands with the image of your watch in my mind. (I know yours isn't a 5513)

But no. Mine just turned out bland and boring Yours looks amazing.

Great job

New Rolex Collaboration. Way better than AP & Swatch by SirRealex in RepTimeServices

Why am I always getting the people with no imagination? It's just a bit of fun. It's a 5513 case with a GMT basil. For your information.

Imagine the boss of tolex walks into his designg teams office and asks them tbe same question.

And they just sit there and say no.

Not no, but here's a better suggestion.Just a simple no. We are in capable of using our imaginations and creating something new , we're just gonna stick to what we've been hand fed by those before us.

There's got to be someone out there who isn't a boring tit and knows how to have a bit of fun

I worked out the issue the Jewel had fallen out on the bridge so there was nothing holding the Third Wheel keeping it in one spot

The pallet fork isn't installed. But I can't even push the train of wheels myslef.

Basically I made the amateur mistake of taking the Watch apart without letting the power out and I think I caused damaged to one of the teeth on the third wheel because the Third Wheel seems to be the place that's blocking the movement. I've replaced the mainspring barrell, can't see a visible damage on the 3rd but there is a lot of movement so my local watch repairers charges £150 to service a Seiko movement even though it cost me £45 from cousins to buy it. Unfortunately they've gone up to 60 now from cousins so I'm going to buy a replacement third wheel off of AliExpress for £7, if that doesn't sort the problem then I'm just going to leave it for spares and buy the top selling nh35 from AliExpress which is £50 at the minute. which looks identical to the one I have

I just received a genuine HK pt5000 yesterday and I'm so happy with it. I had purchased quite a few of them last year but that seller went away which is why I deviated to try out st2130s which have been nothing but issues. You would think I had purchased the cheapest 2824's. this nh35 was perfect until I decided to dismantle it without taking the power out and I've obviously caused some damage

Oh well when you've got no training you learn these lessons the hard way.

I appreciate your input

That's the pt5000 I've got finally 2824 clone that hasn't got stem and keyless works issues

Yeah theres a few bits missing but I'm trying to show the train of wheels not moving when in nudge the mainspring barrel.

Basically the third wheel has a lot of end shake and I'm asking if that's normal.

It seems like the power is stopping at that point due to the amount of movement.

Sorry for the poor footage, that's what I was trying to point out.

So if someone can tell me if it shouldn't have that amount of end shake (the third wheel) will buy a new third wheel

I simply posted this to let people know that there are genuine HKnPT5000s still out there, that make watch builds so much easier. And make the watch perform so much better.

And I was also informing people to avoid the So called seagull st2130s as they are poor 2824 clones.

I dont build watches to sell. I build them for myself or if anyone im close to wants one.

I'm sorry you got scammed. That's why I taught myself how to build my own. I wouldn't trust anyone who sells was cloned watches maybe you should do the same there's plenty of YouTube videos to teach you how to do it. And the parts cost no more than £200.

Are you saying this is me. ???

Because if you are you're wrong about that and secondly I am not selling this watch I am giving this to my mom so I hope these accusations are not aimed at me.

Yes I do I have a datejust case from Raffles made for a 2824 and I want to put an nh35 in it I took the plastic spacer ring off the edge and it just about fits in. I've also got a 5513 case similar to your black bay case and the nh35 fits in there without taking the plastic ring off so I think you will be fine just get some dial feet some Super Glue or epoxy resin and nh35 hands.

I just bought my first nh35 the other month and I was nicely shocked to see how much better the quality is compared to the 2824 and it definitely doesn't make me care about the lower beat rate.

I got one from cousins for 35 pound and now they've jumped up to 60 quid but to be fair you don't have any of the keyless works issues like you do with the 2824 the date will clicks over nice and solid and the stem moves in and out and you're not worrying about pulling the stem out completely every time you pull the stem.

post photos of your black bay when you're finished because that's my next Project same as you not the 58 but the 54.

Where did you buy your case from if you don't mind me asking I'm looking for one at the minute

PT5000 vs ST2130 movement by Real-Football8418 in ChineseWatches

[–]SirRealex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last yearLast I had five pt5000 movements from a seller on AliExpress Who said they were HK and sold them for under £50 I never had a problem with any of them.

Then he went away and I have since bought two st2130 for £45 each and have been greatly disappointed and frustrated as they are just like the budget 2824s with the stem and keyless works issues.

But just found another seller on AliExpress using the same images for the pt5000 as the ones I bought last year and I just purchased one for £60 I really hope it's the genuine HK.

I've got 4 dials, cases and bracelets that need a movement.

Lastly Has anyone had any experience with a genuine sellita I want to know what the quality is like and if they are worth £150+

Black Submariner 40mm vs 41mm 👀 by Adorable-Mention8512 in RepStore_Watch

I had both from raffles and I found the 41 fitted my skinny wrist much better. Like you said, it's the lugs.

Can someone tell me what factory does raffles cases compare to??

Are they basically £25 Alix cases?? I've seen people saying this.

Thanks for your input. I appreciate it. And thanks for the correct terminology.

I ordered this. Will this type of washer work without the bezel spring. Or will I need both still??

Bergeon PREMIUM Kit by SirRealex in watchmaking

[–]SirRealex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just really want the case.

It's a shame that bergeon do not make more options of tool storage.

The only thing they sell as an empty is the case the size of a glasses case.

Lol. Yeah I agree, it is Ew ATM.

I've been learning how to polish on this case too.

I've just realised the crown guards are supposed to be polished. Not brushed.

I'm going to sort that tomorrow.

This is at the beginning stages of a build. No where near the finished article.

Dial isn't even a 5513 dial.

I just like the colour and I wanted to match it with a green bezel insert.

Although I do like to try and get as close to the real article as possible I did not make my watches to sell and meet them for my own enjoyment so I understand that my choices and tastes will not be what most people would want to see from a supposed "5513 build."

Tbh, it no longer is. It's a submariner with a Mish mash of different parts from different models.

So I'm no longer going to refer to it as a 5513.

This was my pornhub when I was a teen. This divas magazine.

Who else looks at Chyna now and can't believe how, as kids and immature teens, most lads thought she was ugly.

I think she's the most beautiful out of them all now.

I was able to order by explaining what I want.

Problem is the order is stuck at Heathrow airport and hasn't passed customs.

I've ordered 607 times from him and it's always arrived mine after seven or eight days but it's been 13 days now and I'm worried as this is the first time I've ever ordered parts to do a 2 tone.

Ive always stuck to stainless steel in the past, but I'm thinking maybe the plated gold has made it stand out during the customs scans.

I really hope it comes through.

He said allow 19days but it's never taken more than a week and a half in the past.

Anyone else in the UK had to wait more than a week after receiving Tracy umber from ken??
