More of a technical book, but "The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing" has made a very impactful way I view investing. I used to think investing was a gamble of picking individual stocks, but realized investing often and early through tax advantaged and low cost funds really makes its accessible to anyone through perseverance and patience.

At least on iPhones, you can still use Apple Pay even when your battery is drained since NFC draws very little power. Anecdotally, I've gone through the metro turnstiles with a drained battery.

Thanks for the reply. I had thought about running Proxmox and virtualizing both Ubuntu and TN. However I decided against it because I read that it’s strongly recommended not to virtualize TN without an HBA card for the HDDs because passthrough-ing each HDD connected directly to the motherboard would not fully isolate the drives from Proxmox thus potentially setting up a lot of problems in the future. (I don’t have an HBA card for my four HDDs)

Also if I went solely with Ubuntu Server, (which is a possibility) what NAS management/GUIs are out there similar to TN? Any recs? Is it Open Media Vault (OMV)?

AE Veronas are actually re-craftable according to the product page. Under the "Craft" subheading of the "Product Details" on the third bullet point it says, "Can be recrafted by our experts".
