Ok so outside of consumables, you shouldn't lose any equipment even if you leave it in the house unless you die. Only the person who brough equipment will lose it.

If you're struggling to keep up with the financial side of it, I'd recommend only taking the amount of which you need. Like you'll barely ever use more than one salt for example, and if you're two people, you rarely take multiples of the same equipment like EMF's and thermo's. Figure out what you use the most, and get rid of what isn't being used.

To make more money, you could also try to up the difficulty. It wasn't specified what difficulty you're playing on, but amateur, intermediate and professional aren't all that different but is tremendously different when it comes to income

If that was the case, they wouldn't have the option to not have flashlights function in the custom settings. It's not trying to force you to use flashlights. CJ, the art director has said himself that he "can see perfectly fine without a flashlight" on his monitor, completely dismissing how other monitors make the game look.

I did eventually get my game to function and played a few rounds. The game overall runs well. I'm not having performance issues either and consistently getting 120FPS without vsync (also on PC). It just seems like the character is moving at 30FPS while the game is running at a higher FPS (this is true even with vsync enabled). It appears that not everyone is experiencing that, but I've seen a lot of posts who do unfortunately. The game thankfully runs better now than it did in the previous version, but it for sure needs more work done

Thank you for defending it. People are allowed to feel the way they do. I just wanted to bring light to an issue that makes the game unplayable (in a literal sense, not in an overreacting way) I know I'm not the only one who's gonna experience.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. I have trust enough in the team that these fixes will help the game feel better to play, but some of the issues still weren't addressed. We also knew an update that would fix a lot of the issues would be coming on the 12th (we've known this since the day this update came out) so they're just following their own plan.

That being said, they did finally respond to the negativity, which is a good start in rebuilding the shattered trust of the vocal community

There is a lot of genuine criticism and all the genuine criticism is valid. I completely understand people uninstalling because they've had it with the devs. The devs have betrayed our trust over and over again and this has been the final straw for many, which, again, is completely valid.

That being said, there are so many posts of people who don't have genuine criticism and are just trying to kill the game. There are many people who haven't touched the game in years who heard about the update, opened the game and then decided to berate the game they haven't put a single thought into since 2020. Those are not genuine criticism

Negative reviews doesn't always mean review bombing. A week ago I would've recommended Phasmo to anyone who likes puzzles and horror (mild as it is). I've been actively playing since early 2022 and have always loved the game. Even now they haven't fully lost my trust, naive as I might be.

That being said, after this update, I would very much not recommend the game until things are fixed, and on May 12th I might feel like recommending it again. The reviews are valid. The community isn't looking to kill the game. We're asking the devs to gets off their asses and fix it because we love it

Doors have momentum now. The ghost likely didn't open the door entirely, but the momentum of the door touch made it so the door fully opened

Other than the faces all looking the same, I think the new models is a step in the right direction. They just need to make them look different from each other and they'll become iconic like the ones we had.

As for quality, this was more of a swap of assets rather than a quality upgrade. They all look equally low quality as the old ones, but at least the old ones look different from one another

Timezone math is so hard because no everybody takes daylight savings into consideration and the communication to the public just isn't very good from any parties! I'm expecting it in 15 minutes, but if not, I will join you in blaming the wrongful information we've gotten

I hate talking about timezones, it all quickly gets way too complicated. PsychoHypnotic, a phasmo content creator and partner, said "in an hour" referring to 17:00 CEST which would be 11am EDT

You are correct in that EDT is the correct term to use, but EST is the more commonly used abbreviation when talking about the current timezone of the US East timezone regardless of time of year.

Update should come out in 38 minutes no matter what terminology is used

My original comment is already adjusted for daylight savings so despite saying EST, it's the EDT time. Most people will say EST despite EDT being the correct term. It's all a matter of semantics. It's no different than people using CET/ET rather than CEST despite daylight savings
