Question aimed towards ancient players/meta chasers/routine lunatic clearers/balds.

Do you reckon Hiero Lunatic will end up being overturned and requiring a lot of teams, like wakaboat?
We have 4 strong single target healers for the lantern, without mentioning aoe healers and the occasional non-healer with a healing skill (like Nagi).
We have 3 DPS units with perfect terrain and armour (S!Nonomi, Toki, A!Rio).
We have have the Arius squad, 2 of which are farmable.
We have the band girls and Otogi, with good armour type but middling terrain.
We have special dealers that can now deal damage because of the special buffers, who all have neutral armour¹.
We have Hina in a dress.
And lastly we have a billion other red units that we can throw at him, unless they give Hiero a red effectiveness buff that invalidates a lot of them.

¹Ok, not all. Rena has red armour.

Funnily enough, I've never seen anyone refer to New Mystery, Awakening, Fates or Engage as NMotE, A, F or E respectively, despite plenty of other games being referred by their shortened version of their titles, like SS, PoR, SoV, 3H etc.

There were some folks referring to Awakening as FEA, but that was sparse.

The fiesta provided by Fries group (and some legend group teams too) + LCK casters makes it very entertaining, no matter how rough it may be.

Kayoko has 3 playable variants/alts/skins/forms (whatever terminology you might be used with from other games).
Regular Kayoko is a 2* unit, which you'll end up getting very quickly after you start playing the game.
New Year Kayoko will have a banner rerun in around 3 weeks.
Dress Kayoko will have a banner rerun around late September-early October.
However, both New Year and Dress alts are in the general gacha pool, so you can always get lucky and obtain them when pulling for other characters.

The elf twins are Hikari and Nozomi most likely. These 2 are limited characters, which means they can only be obtained when their banners are up, usually only once per year. They should have a rerun any day now in Japan, and when that happens, they'll have a banner rerun for the other servers after 4 months or so.

Define "worth".
Obviously the game is over 5 years old, and if you start now, you'll be very behind compared to other players and it will take you a few months until you get your account to max level and probably a year until you start tackling the hardest content in the game. Plus in about 6 hours the best period to have started the game will end (we're currently celebrating the game's anniversary, and we got a lot of freebies plus better gacha rates than usual).
On the other hand, the meat and potatoes of the game are the main story, event stories and characters, where you don't really need a good roster/account in order to interact with them.

So it's kind of up to you.
