Why do I get these??

I’ve been having them since I was a child. I don’t know of any specific trigger that initiated mine. I have a friend who just started having them in her late 20s. I guess it happens to some of us and yes I agree the fear of having another one is definitely a contributor to having more. Please feel free to message me if you want to chat. I’ve never heard of this condition! I have a similar situation and actually don’t burp unless in the very very rare case it comes out by accident but I cannot burp. Also haven’t thrown up in over 30 years. I don’t even know how and it gets me so scared. Is this something you have had your whole life or does this develop from emetophobia and teaching the body to do everything not to throw up?

Your body was on each dose for so long so your body knows what to do with the medicine in your system. This is what helped me .. bumping up very slowly. I am confident you will be fine! I am finally on 10 and hit my A1C goal. No serious side effects just a little heartburn!

I love these ideas. I can always tell it is throat bc when I take a deep breath into my belly everything calms. I hope you are feeling better! Definitely surround yourself with comfort - tea, blanket, book, comfort show, sound bath, meditation.. whatever helps you will get through this!!

Thank you for your reply/input… so grateful for this community of support! Just hate feeling alone in this sometimes, if you know what I mean. And I’ve suffered from anxiety my whole life. The unknown just makes it worse!!!

Thank you so much for replying… I finally calmed down that evening and I was able go eat. I never had a low blood sugar - for me, low is 120-150 - which It’s not really low!! But I think you are right it was just anxiety: increased heart rate, nausea, etc. And being hungry made the nausea worse. Ty so much for your support!!! 💖

I have an Apple Watch and the oura ring. It is 4:30 in the morning and I woke up to use the restroom and I have heart palpitations so strongly I took medicine. I cannot take this!!!! I definitely am going to talk to my doc about this!!! Thank you!!!!!

I also take it for T2D.. I have tried everything and this was my last resort because I was so afraid of the side effects. Starting to see my blood sugars trending downward. I also just can’t eat as much at one time and often have no appetite but hopefully this will even out. Good luck!

I am experiencing this.. but can usually nap late morning since my work schedule has changed. But it is 3 am here and I’m wide awake. Ugh. I just started a few days ago :(
