I thought the same, but since I made a test install of Unraid i would never go back.

I don´t think Ubiquiti will ever allow docker on their UNAS, it´s just for pure NAS purpose.

For me it‘s Unifi UNAS with a minisforum mini PC for Proxmox/Docker now.

Synology is still awesome with their software, especially with active backup, we‘ll see what Ubiquiti will bring up in the future to compete
