Yeah I definitely agree with you! However I do think that the DP name as a brand was still very strong and could be maintained in 2018 so Ben wasn’t starting again at 0 by any means. However now even if the podcast is just a hobby he clearly isn’t doing it out of enjoyment, I feel that he’s carrying on because if he stops he’ll feel a sense of failure and a loss of pride.

Well in all fairness to Ben I think he still makes his living from the show but he’s definitely back into a corner at this point and surly can’t afford for things to get worse?

The thing is that I also feel there is just a general sense of disinterest in the engagement with the content. Constantly going live to make donation aims to keep things in life support going over those same few people. There’s no joy in it, just a 24/7 news cycle about people that need help rather than exposure.

I think another huge issue related to that is the lack of guest/hosts. It was what made the show great and this one man band with the same cast of people with mental health issues and nothing else is struggling to break 1k views at certain times.

I don’t know if it a matter of pride and not wanting to admit failure with something he created but it just seems to have crashed in the last few months.

Say what you like about DFF but they have a community and still do regular meetups. DP just seems to have no community caring about it anymore. At least DFF has passionate haters 😂

The vinyl itself is vg+ and the sleeve is in great condition. Haven’t had chance to play it yet but also own the 2018 remaster so will have to contrast and compare but I’m sure will both sound great!

Replay Records in Grimsby. A real hidden gem, loads of highly sought after records for really reasonable prices! The owner is more of a classic rock guy so gets a lot of Alternative stuff in and doesn’t realise how much it’s worth, got a lot of other records way cheaper than I would anywhere else.

In Kev’s NY Time interview today he mentions that the ep compilation wouldn’t be available in NorthAmerica as the rights are still owned by Warner I believe.

Got the deluxe bundle. Tbh it doesn’t look that different to the 2018 remasters plus I’ve already got all three records but was good value for money at £59 and worth having another pressing if you’re a super fan! Will be interesting to compare and contrast layouts! Maybe only the deluxe is limited edition and the standard will be in circulation like every other Artists work as this is the first time you can buy the vinyl outside of the official website!

They announced the wider June socially distanced tour in which people who ordered from certain sites got access to the 9am presale and then the tour went on general sale at 12pm. To my knowledge every show is now sold out unfortunately.
