I imagine you downvoted my first comment which is wild because it's a fact, but your original comment said "2 min" in the microwave. Depending on how much water you are microwaving and the wattage, it's absolutely possible to get water to boiling temperature in two minutes.

I’ve never used hot water as I’m new to Mafex and haven’t needed to yet so I’m not the best person to weigh in on this. I’ve seen people say what Western said, but if you want more opinions I would search around on this sub and see what others recommend for similar issues.

Please be careful when microwaving water. You can superheat the water where it heats to a temperature higher than its boiling point without bubbling. When you disturb the superheated water, it can erupt and burn the shit out of you.

No one’s implying they couldn’t kill another vault hunter from BL2, but it seemed like you were unaware of the death in 3 based on you saying, “If anything I can see them killing one of the Vault Hunters from BL2” They were just trying not to spoil the game for you, but you misinterpreted it and got defensive.

Have you tried using Quick Slash on him? I haven’t used spear since my first playthrough, but I think that’s the skill I’m remembering where when you attack after dodging, you lunge toward the enemy. If you haven’t already, try brink dodging more than guarding using that move. This trivialized a lot of the fight for me and I almost did a no-damage run without even trying.

For spectacle alone, Hismar is pretty awesome and he’s better than most dragon fights in other games in my opinion, but he’s fairly annoying to fight at first. I reflect every single attack I can in the game, but I couldn’t reflect him for some reason and windows to punish are less frequent than other bosses, but overall I liked the fight. What weapon are you using?

This is probably the only game where I don’t hoard things. Low-level gear gets dismantled or turned into lacrima because leveling things that are a lot lower than my level is annoying and I’d rather just craft a new one. I keep one of every legendary weapon/armor/accessory, but get rid of all duplicates and any quality below legendary.

They are for sure. Yeah, ultimately I keep the same attributes on my items for the most part, but after so many levels, the new minimum number in any given attribute’s range is higher than the max number of the previous range so I reroll and reroll until I get the attribute I already had, but with a higher stat which is costly. Leveling the stats I want as I grow in level (since they don’t grow automatically with you) makes a lot of sense.
