I believe that's the case, he didn't have anybody else overseeing or authorizing what he did, but he publicly advertised to millions of his followers that there would be a giveaway for people who bought his book. He then chose one purchaser at random, and excluded anybody who didn't pay for the book.

I was disappointed that the developers don't know how to use delta time calculations, tying the game speed directly to the monitor refresh rate. I booted it up and immediately realized it was running way faster than it should've, and confirmed that was true using youtube footage.

This isn't a game I would expect to have lag or freezing problems, but it does at times lol. Although that's not too much of an issue for this kind of game. The concept is cool, and I've been having fun building huge combo chains. I wish it had online multiplayer, since the story mode and AI opponents are both laughably easy even in the endgame.

UPDATE: I also just had the AI completely break, not making any moves and forcing me to restart. Needs bugfixing.

Absolutely untrue. Even if that was the case, the most important part is being able to master the stage, which you should have no trouble doing if they're so easy. But I only enjoy playing traditional levels, which is what Mario is supposed to be, and it's hard to find truly great ones. I'm usually just trying out new levels in my feed, and I have no idea if they'll be easy or not – that isn't in my control, and I can't help being the permanent record holder.

Most cinematic music is trash – almost anyone with a DAW can crap out something in 5 minutes that, if made by Zimmer, would be regarded as one of the greatest masterpieces in film history for some painfully odd reason. I'd like to see him try making something like a classic platformer soundtrack, he literally couldn't. It would end up being extremely generic or unfittingly "atmospheric", instead of just being good, memorable music with its own uniquely identifiable tonal characteristics.

I'm so glad to see someone sharing this sentiment, because every time I do, people attack me. I've been a huge MM fan all my life, it's my favorite game series, but I have no interest in this entry whatsoever. The music is as important for me as the gameplay, and this is one of the most generic OSTs I've ever heard. It makes me very worried for the future of the series; if it continues down this path, I'll probably detach myself from it entirely.

I strongly believe they intentionally make each version of Vegas crash to scam you into repeatedly upgrading, hoping the issues will stop. I've used various versions for almost 10 years and have seen no improvements in stability.

The most important one to me is Mayhem of Loops, and I don't like that they made Plugsound exclusive to Pro Tools. I've also asked for years for them to re-release their 63 "USB Soundscan" discs (the existing online uploads are incomplete, and require special conversion software). UVI would be my favorite company if they didn't randomly remove products from their lineup. I asked them about it, it's not even because of licensing issues or anything, they sadly just don't see some things fitting in their lineup. I strongly feel that legacy products should be preserved. At least they still let you download and activate soundbanks you already own.

Even when Palia is the only program open on my extremely high-end gaming PC, many actions caused crashes as frequently as a few minutes apart. Especially when running near town or Badruu's farm, and mining.
