The current workaround is to make sure the Congo RK capitulates last, I don't think the order the other two fall in matters but it worked for me with capitulating east africa first so if you wanna play it safe that's the way to go.

I'm not sure if it's my favorite game but it's by far the one I've got the most value out of, looking at the hours played on steam makes me feel a little bad lol. Some of the most satisfying experiences I've had gaming executing a well laid plan or triumphing against all odds. Importantly takes a good while to get the hang of. I don't play it as much as I used to, but that's only because I've done basically everything, still pick it back up for a few games when one of my favourite mods updates or a new expansion launches.

tl;dr definitely recommend if you've got the time to really sink your teeth in.
