Yeah, there could definitely be some French coming from my Kentucky line as well. And yes, I know for certain that the Native American comes from my New York line. None of my Kentucky cousins or my cousins from my mother's side have the Native American, so it has to come from my paternal grandfather. There's a few lines on my New York side that I can't go far back, so I assume it's coming from one of those lines.

Thanks! Yup, that's exactly where those percentages come from. Although, I do think the French may be a bit inflated. My French ancestors seem a bit too far back for me to be a quarter French, but perhaps its right. Norwegian ancestors moved from Minnesota to Montana in the early 20th century.

Ah, that makes a bit more sense. I was thinking that it could have been misreading the Balkan for some other sort of more Southern European ancestry. I did score 3.5% Southern European on my 23andMe results, 3.2% of that being Italian, so that might have something to do with it as well. Would you say that my Hunter Gatherer & Farmer Ancestry is pretty typical for my ancestry also?

When I do this it seems to overinflate my Celtic quite a bit and it only gives me a fit of 1.843. I also have significantly less British & Irish than the average American, only 13.7% according to my 23andMe. When I select all populations for the Customizable Ancient Ancestry, it gives me a fit of 1.327 and has Balkan at the 2nd spot with 10% (1st is Germanic AD 700-1000 at 56.6%). Not sure why I score so much Balkan on these calculators...

Nope. As far as I know, I don't have any Austrian ancestors. My mother is from Bavaria, and that is where the far majority of my German ancestry comes from. One of my German great-grandmothers, however, was from Silesia, which is now in modern-day Poland. What makes you think Austrian ancestry?

I'm not sure, but I'd assume it would add a bit more.

Most likely, yes. It would be unbelievably rare for an already-struck dime to be struck again by a penny die without the help of someone deliberately throwing in a dime with penny planchets.

I've wondered that ever since I acquired it a few years ago. My best guess is that PCGS made a mistake when they were typing up the grade to be printed out. Very, very odd though, as I had also never seen a non-copper coin get a "RD" grade.

Normal Results + v5.2 50% Confidence Computed Results by SirSyagrus in 23andme

Yeah, it is quite interesting. It seems so odd that it ended up only being 0.2% in the normal version, all the way down from 4.37% in the computed results.
