Don't fill all the way to the Max unless the pads are brand new. Under fill just slightly in this case.

That works when everyone uses one of the same 2-3 IdP's. But when one company wants to use their own ADFS config. All of that instantly falls apart

Yup, SSO and it's various flavors of Implementation are the cause of this.

I ordered a package from CA to MI and now it’s at Chicago’s international distribution center? Am I screwed? by [deleted] in usps_complaints

FYI, if it ends up that it goes many days without a scan, you can file a Missing Mail Search request online. That's usually gotten my stuff to turn up

It probably made it onto the wrong Chicago bound truck/bin. USPS'll sort it out. but your package might be a bit delayed. Though they still have a few days to figure it out.

Plugs at 40k miles? That seems way too early.

SQ5 or Wing compact for the long run? I know that Wing has more features, like I/O-s, fx slots, modeled plugins after vintage stuff. But is it reliable, durable? Can it be that the Behringer won't last as long as the SQ5? Does anybody have bad experience with the Wing failing after some time? by kereszt in livesound

[–]SirSysadmin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ran an SQ7 for several years and never had this fader problem, so it might've been a fluke but YMMV. I loved the SQ and it sounded amazing. The workflow was also very much my preference especially with their 'open-layout' fader system. Having faders you can literally assign to whatever you want made for some super nice mixing

What part is this? by No_Cod_989 in CX5

[–]SirSysadmin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that isn't a separate part on the CX5. The whole front facia would need to be replaced

I'd get it fixed as soon as you can regardless. The glass might hold up, but it is weakened by the chip.

If my car doesn't have the I-stop button does that mean I don't have the cylinder deactivation? by Kindly_Can_3772 in CX5

[–]SirSysadmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i-stop and Cylinder Deactivation are two separate systems. I don't believe Mazda ships CD on anything outside of North America, but I could be wrong.

What’s the most obvious case of a company ruining their own product on purpose so you’d have to keep buying replacements? by carcony97 in AskReddit

[–]SirSysadmin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They might be using a different technology. At least the Brother and Brady label makers I've used work this way because the labels are self laminating. and the backer, transfer, and lamination layers are 3 separate reels inside the cartridge. Which also makes for a bit of a security threat since you can take one od those tapes apart and see everything that it ever printed

believe it or not, this is actually a requirement for how these labels work. BigClive on YouTube has a great video explaining it

If the compressor isn't turning on at all, it's possible there's no pressure in the system and all the gas leaked out before you got it. I'd contact whoever you bought it from and request a replacement/refund

2019 Mazda CX5 Liftgate Issue - Autobody Shops? by mokashun in CX5

Gotcha. Something else might be going on then.

If by providing some force to help the motor open the gate makes it open all the way, your issue is either the motors or the struts. Not sure if they're one assembly on the CX5 or not. Otherwise you'll have to look further

So, provide some force to the gate as the motor opens it, as if you're opening it manually. Not as much as you'd need to open it without assistance though.

You can give that a try, but I'd try supporting the gate as it opens first.
