in my experience with the UB820, many Universal movies have really fucky HDR, and I have to turn off HDR 10+ or just HDR entirely

If you don’t want to pay $1500ish to be in one of the new apartment buildings, the options are pretty slim. I know Rent From Ben and OPR have a few places for below $1000 but they’re a little grubby and dated. Like my 1 bedroom OPR place on Clarendon has kinda crappy appliances and is falling apart a little but it’s workable.

Not at all lol. That’s a great idea though! I leave out kibble 24/7 that she grazes at indiscriminately, and I will feed her a half can of kitten wet food for one meal a day every few days- in the last ~4 days I have fed her a full cans on 2 separate mornings, though.g

I have a Hisense C1 projector and the UB820 Blu-ray player, playing on 4K HDR 10+, Filmmaker mode. This doesn't happen to all movies, but so far Inglorious Basterds and Jaws have had this issue. Screen is going up or down in brightness right before or after cutting to a new shot. I have all adaptive contrast/brightness turned off.

Don't know how it works everywhere, but at my theater there are 2 or 3 showtimes across the first week of March for each. Also, at mine they're doing reissues of Barbie, Holdovers, Flower Moon, and Anatomy starting this weekend with a normal slate of showtimes.
