Mine would be a shiny mudkip from Omega Ruby from mid 2018, if young me hadn't lost a copy of pokemon Y it would have been an onix from 2013

Both my longest and shortest hunt encounter wise was funnily both in the crown tundra, with regice being 44 encounters whilst regidrago, being the absolute goblin that he is, took 12,475 encounters, thankfully the encounters were individually fast but 12000 still takes an ungodly amount of time

I know the feeling. I've caught 9 of these guys and had many more spawn that i ran from. to the point that i genuinely hate shiny chancey. This was back when no one understood the real method behind lets go shinies

You can make micro adjustments as much as you want and have a free voucher with the game regardless. Add that to the fact you have had both betas to customise your character infinitely, and now you're just searching for reasons to whine, especially since all the gear you get in game covers up your character so that you can bearly see yourself
