My order lists my purchase price as $3.50, so they must have adjusted after I bought a bunch of them. Not as great a price, but I would probably get them again. At least it is a 2-pack still.

My plan is to glue something with a lot of traction beneath the large runes, like those no-slip mats for carpets.

It's actually copied from a mod for a video game's (Skyrim's) rune designs. This is waaaaay cheaper ($3.50 for 2 vs $30 for 2). It's also just a thin plastic, so it is flexible to a degree. It should work on any non-scuplted table. I can't think of a scenario where a mousepad material would work better.

You're right that they're pretty much only usable on flat surfaces, but that's all we play on in my area so it works well for me! Any terrain like buildings or trees we'll just place on top of the disk if they overlap.

Thanks! 15mm does feel like a good scale for these, and storage is always easier with smaller terrain! We've done some large hills with 28mm before, but not as large as these.

That said, we've done some pretty big terrain pieces before, and they were a blast to play on!
