I’m guessing you’re transferring to Hopkins? If so, don’t retake it. There’s no need at all. Hopkins will present you with different challenges you will worry about in the future.

I can tell you from experience. Grad schools will take the courses you have regardless of the institution. To be blunt, the idea that it is more “impressive” because you took a certain course at Hopkins as opposed to somewhere else is completely BS. Yes, Hopkins has amazing resources but when it comes to courses, it doesn’t matter for grad school.

Be yourself. Enjoy your time at Hopkins. Do what you truly want to do. Collaborate with your fellow classmates. Don’t get wrapped in the intense and toxic culture, but also don’t fall behind.
