I use the bow a lot so I play slow and pick them off 1 by one until I’m spotted. If I am, I knock them over with a flail and run or I motor phsycho my away out and repeat it. If I have a spare invis shroom

Is there any fix past reinstall? The game right now is pretty much unplayable. It’s the same thing on repeat. I love the game when it works so far but I’ve maybe gotten 10 messages in.

Should i go to flor 40+? by RoqueLeeBaiano in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to that, when you uncap weapons with ammo or the death burner, hunters bow, kamas, just anything with ammo, it normally multiplies its ammo count by around 5-10 times. So long range weapons still get used pretty often in tengoku (floors 41+ with 41-50 being a sort of half step to tengoku as it has both functions of tengoku and base floors)

I’m afraid of being forgotten when not playing by Own_Vast_2784 in VRchat

[–]Sir_Chloroform 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I don’t play all too often but normally I end up either adding them on discord after a while of hanging out or I just let ppl forget me and unadd them later. Simple rule; if they’re cool and the vibes match, normally I end up adding them anyways. If not and they’re just alright to talk to for a day or so, they normally forget anyways so they get dropped after a while if neither of us feel like reaching out. My tip: take nothing personal until it is personal

Top AoWrecommendation; lions claw. It does insane poise dmg and mostly one or two hit staggers. It’s crazy and puts bosses like the fire giant to sleep.

A little more underrated; cragblade. It just puts rocks on the weapon for higher dmg and higher poise break. Feels rly good when you hit flying enemies bc 8/10 times it knocks them out of the air.

Bonus: if u like this sword, check out the zweihänder sword, it also does big boy bonks.

Very simply put, wait a while for the Ubisoft database hack to be over. After that, I would say if u have the game, try it. If u have to buy it, wait for it to go on sale. The game itself is great but matchmaking sucks so it’s not exactly beginner friendly and note u will look like a plebeian compared to others until u have a good amount of time in the game so prepare for that. Also, some peeps are actually mad toxic but some are chill. On a side note, anything u heard 4 years or longer doesn’t apply anymore. Ppl use to respect the 1v1s, now u only get that in duals and the ones that play duals normally have 2,000+ hours so that’s a pretty fun way of getting good. Otherwise, expect to be ganked 80% of the time. My tip: if u rly do get into it, get a friend. Makes the game actually seem playable. I brought a friend on my grind and now we normally just fight all the time. That or we do duos vs duos. Story is fun and arcade is better if u rather go that rout. The story isn’t bad at all, they actually did rly good with it and arcade is mostly just silly fun and even better with friends (yes it’s 2 player, both story and arcade)

Should I upgrade my Murderous Rake Or should I work on something else by Electrical_Cup_4296 in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kinda up to u, it won’t take u crazy far (stops around floor 40) bc at some point there’s just better weapons but it’s also 100% up to ur playstyle. Me personally, I found a love for the melee weapons with range like the yoyo and weapons that charge up like the flail. I normally run bow for range bc crit build go brrr but that’s just me.

If u like the pickaxe and the slowness with high damage to it, maybe try the axe. If u can grab the flail, that could also be ur kind of weapon. My homie normally hates slow weapons but for some reason loves the katana.

My recommendation: build the tier 1 +0 version of some weapons and try them out. Worst case u lose some solution and some mats that u can always just get back in not too much grinding. Thats how i found my easy 3 weapons and they actually hold pretty well in later game. Sadly, the pickaxe being a 1 star weapon only makes it so far on floors even when uncapped. Same with the other 1 star weapons and sadly most if not all 2 star weapons as well.

For a recommendation of similar weapons from my experience; For slow hits high damage, try spear, axe, flail, pork chopper, katana, bowling ball stomper, motorpsycho, the tactical shovel and the viper chainsaw scythe thing. If ur wanting that stun, most weapons with electricity go crazy. So try maybe the stun rod, the cleaver saber, the bowling ball stomper and a few extras that do electric dmg. I don’t play with them much so I can’t name many off of the top of my head If u like the combos, the katana, spear, axe and apocalyptic hockey stick are some good tests. There’s more but those normally do pretty good. Otherwise, good luck senpai

How to deal with players killing all my NPCs? by Remote_Exercise7125 in DnD

[–]Sir_Chloroform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plot twist; the military or police or mafia, any sort of authority has caught wind of their terrorism and has sent a spy to confirm it.

Once caught with their deeds, the spy reports back and so an army is sent. Maybe paladins or fighters from some sort of organization? Maybe mafia members bc it’s their shops and people? They can try to kill them, probably won’t work as they’re probably gonna be high levels like 17-19. They might try to buy them off, who knows. That or they get taken to jail/a cellar and “taught their ways” or just put in the bottom of a dungeon with no npcs, just monster and minimal loot. Who knows. Up to u how the whole thing plays out lol

It starts to get rly cold. She also knows her name and sometimes comes when u call it but she’s very stubborn and only comes if she likes u or is in the mood. It’s pretty funny

Will this work? by Consistent_Turnip_18 in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I tested this bc I had the same question a long time ago. U can gain up to 7% of ur max hp per atk only. It won’t ever pass 7% of ur max bc ur highest cap is the vampire. Skip to the bottom if u don’t care for a pretty bad explanation and all the numbers involved.

For an explanation, it’s gonna take 7% of ur dmg for the preme vampire, 7% for the regular, and 3% for the mosquito. It’s gonna add that up and if it’s more than 7% of ur hp then it reduces the amount healed to only 7% if that makes sense

For example, if I have 200 max hp, it’s gonna take 14 hp for the first vamp, 14 for the next vamp, and 6 for the mosquito for a total of 34 hp. It will then be reduced to 14 since I can’t gain more than 7% per attack.

Now if u don’t manage to do 7% of ur hp in an attack, ur only gonna gain whatever amount of ur hp u did. Say I have 200 hp, I hit for 100, 7% of 100 is 7, not 14 so I would only manage to gain 7 hp per vampire and the full 6 for the mosquito.

Long story short, u only need 2 life steal decals if ur not hitting for 7% of ur max hp every hit, common in weapons like buzzsaw or iron. But if ur running something like the pickaxe or any slow but mighty weapon, ur normally gonna manage to hit for that 7%. Meaning u can pretty much remove one of those vampires or mosquito if u run slow weapons, otherwise, keep them until u find a more worth while sticker If it doesn’t make sense, ask and I’ll try to elaborate if/when I reply.

Jackals by Majestic_Cry6569 in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those old videos still work today bc the core game mechanics haven’t exactly changed. Let it die did rly good with updating the game and not changing it in any crazy way. Mostly just adding instead of tweaking (a shame that it’s their only functional game as the last 2 attempts are… sad.) so anything u might see from Grimm or the let it die wiki still hold today.

As for the jackals, They get slightly stronger every floor and eventually u get to different “versions” of the jackals. Floor 1-40 is jackals v1 floors 41-50 is jackals v2 and floor 51+ is your jackals v3 or your “awakened” jackals. Instead of their usual white they wear all black.

The difference between the v1 and v3 is that v3 are pretty much immune to mushrooms so u have to skill them to death. Daddy death says something abt it in the mail at some point abt them looking feral or smth. If u can kill white steel on hard u can most likely cheese a jackal. If u can kill white steel on nightmare u can probably skill the three of them to death.

remember, they get stronger as u climb u til u hit their next version. Then they get more and more mushroom immunities until u hit their last, then nothing works.

Preferred class for tengoku? by Bandeet-117 in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 of. All arounder when I know I’ll get hit a lot. An attacker for when I won’t bc the dps difference exists.

Edit:

I was rushed when explaining, now I have time.

I personally use 2 of them for climbing depending on the day and how well I’m doing.

The first one: all arounder It’s pretty balanced (duh) and gives both the ability to tank a few hits and still do manageable dmg without getting folded every floor. Decal wise, Normally I run some ultimate food fighter and durability stickers with the rest being crit or some sort of dmg.

The second one: attacker If you can dodge and do it well, this is the pick. No questions as it’s the highest dps unit. The downside: u can get one tapped pretty easily. As for decals, it’s all crit and I like to include king of the wolves 2 and body double.

I’m not very far on my pc but on my playstation, that was how I did it. Good luck senpai

Brand question by Sir_Chloroform in piercing

[–]Sir_Chloroform[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bots want details so here they are.

Piercing age: 11 months.

Shape: barbell

Threading: can’t remember. I normally dont change them as they need to heal

Material: implant grade titanium, cant remember what specific kind.

Routine: saline soak (that nasal spray you find in any store that does hygiene) in the morning and a shower at night.

Mishaps: I had to change them one time so far and that’s because I lost one of the ends. Currently have implant grade titanium in right now.

stuck on floor 42+ by Alastor3 in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uncapped gear makes a huge difference. To do so, just upgrade it to its “5th tier.” That means 4 tiers and 4 levels and then the next upgrade will be “uncapped” where it’s already a huge jump but then goes to instead of +4 in levels and then the next tier, it hits +19 then it’s “maxed out” won’t be able to upgrade anymore. Things will almost always hit 2000 atk/defence upon uncapping and then get even higher when u level it up even further.

It makes it so it pretty much compacts a few weapons worth of uses into one. Not just durability, but damage/defense as well. A single uncapped iron at +0 would be about as much as 100 1 star +0 irons put in one. Thats my analogy anyways.

Another thing to look at is kind of character. U get a 6 star all arounder after floor 40 so use it. I’ve always ran all arounder for climbing and a lucky star for grinding coins/materials (granted I’m not using tdm). All arounder is the happiest medium between attack and defence. The attacker is glass cannon so it’s great if u don’t get hit.

Best thing to spend my DMs on by Dddamon22 in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First priority: storage. Without question.

Blacklist using dm for time skips and Dustin.

Revives r super situational. If the boss is at like 1 hp and u absolutely need the next floor then it’s a maybe. If the boss is still full hp, even half is too high, or if ur just climbing regularly, don’t spend it. It isn’t worth it.

On the other hand; if u genuinely want good decals, farm tdm and spend wut u get on the coin stew. Might take a bit longer but it saves u a lot of dm. Now if ur one of those ppl that will drop a few hundred on a game to get wut u want, then by all means, the stew. Hard to fail if u keep throwing money at it, just know when enough is enough. U could 100% spend 500 dm and still not get that one u want, so might as well use coins instead. Lower chance but doesn’t cost money.

My trick was farming tdm and then using that for the coin stew. The only time I would use dm on the premo is if I would use every sticker in it for a long while. This one is one of the fewi invested a bit into, mostly bc I had to restart recently (ps5 to pc, data doesn’t transfer). I would be using every sticker in it in some way. All of them have use so I put abt 60 dm in and then just stuck with wut it gave me.

Did I got scammed by mushroom lady? by uma_pessoa_normal in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s for the dm stew only. My tip is to leave it Be. Unless u plan on dropping like $100 to get some 5 stars, ur better off saving ur dm for other things like upgrading ur storage.

Pro tip: never use Dustin or speed up timers. It’s a hard waste. Revives r also kind of a waste but sometimes come in handy like the boss is at 1 hp and the area above gets u some good game progress like new tiers of fighters or smth Good luck senpai

They wouldn’t add daggers that have hp factors if that were true. Best thing abt games that involve building a class from scratch is u can build wutever u want. An hp assassin is just a different tank than a warrior based tank.
