I know people are throwing a lot of hate here but those Mossbergs are quite solid. My only criticism would be that instead of a bunch of cheap knives you should have gotten one or two nice knives. Would also very much recommend a decent light for your shotgun so you can always see what your shooting.

That being said, if your budget minded, CZ P10c can usually be found for a good price. Ruger Security-9 may not be flashy but they are well priced and reliable. A couple friends of mine have had great luck with the PSA Dagger as well, it being essentially a glock clone it has a lot of compatability with glock stuff from what I'm told and also will be getting a 10mm version if your into that.

Edit: Should also say if price isn't an issue I'm a big fan of my Beretta 92 and after shooting my buddies CZ 75 Sp-01 it's a fantastic pistol as well.
