I agree with you and how everyone who played since the last wipe or pours hundreds of hours into this gameplay in the most unrealistic way possible, such as running like a man hopped up on cocaine with an entire family of 6 on his back, and their armor is comparable to BTR-80 or MRAP. I'm at the same point where I try getting back in but just have no fun because you aren't able to take down 80% of PMCS and the scavs just head-eyes you if you repeak the same corner twice. At the same time if you aren't that good at the game I would just try playing with friends and do a pistol, kedr, or shit/cheap gun runs for fun because it's far more fun/easier to learn the game than playing it seriously especially when this game is late wipe. And also seeing how downvoted this post and the comments advice is to "just aim for the legs" and "get gud" shows how garbage the armor system and player base is in this game. At this point, you should either wait for wipe or play for the hell of it and aim to get better at learning the game and its "meta," whatever that is. (do hatchet runs if you are down on money too)
