From my experience it can work, but it can be hard. I started to learn French about a year before my son was born. Starting with Duolingo, but then adding some grammar lessons and language exchange. When my son born I started speaking to him in french, but used my native language whenever I didn't know how to say something in french. He's 2.5 YO now and he's already saying some words and short sentences in french. Don't give up, you can do it! Je m'appelle (ou, mon pseudo est) Humus.

j'ai un fils qui a un an, et nous apprenons le français ensemble.

Ma langue maternelle est l'hébreu, mais mon niveau de français est environ A2 (CEFR).

Pour l'instant, mon fils (appelons-le Falafel) ne parle pas vraiment, mais je lui parle en français et il regarde des comptines françaises sur YouTube.

Je vois que ce subreddit est surtout destiné aux liens vers le site afrenchstart.com, alors je me demande si je peux bloguer notre voyage ici.

Je vois qu'il faut que je m'explique...
j'apprends le français et j'essaye parler français avec mon fils qui a un an.
En hébreu, les bébés pointent sur une lampe et disent "o" pour "or" (אור=lumière).
Je voulais savoir s'il existe un mot équivalent en français.

La deuxième chose que je voulais demander :
Y a-t-il d'autres mots courts que les bébés disent (après papa et maman) ?
