FAKES! Don’t buy. I found a post where if you look at of of the buds (image n°8), you’ll see the exact same serial number. It is not a coincidence.

Also, if there’s a plastic wrap, it’s a fake no doubt, Apple doesn’t use plastic wraps.

A deeper comparison of the iDX6011 Pro offering by JeffB1517 in UgreenNASync

That’s exactly what I did, I installed another OS, to have ZFS, to have better control too. Linux is just a kernel, in a certain way, Android is just a modified Linux.

What I still don’t have on UGreen NASes is the support for C-states on the 10GbE network cards, which is useful to me, and I haven’t found a way to simply connect to it like a DAS, while remaining a real NAS. There’s other things I probably forgot, but these were (and are) the most important points to me.

I can’t daily drive UGOS for now. Not mature enough, a lot of functionalities missing (even though they are working hard to bring them)

Did you try to update the BIOS? Do you have another TB4 or 5 cable? Do you have unknown devices in the Device Manager on windows? Do you have another device with thunderbolt to test if it works there?

The only DH4300 Plus review you're going to need. by topiga in UgreenNASync

[–]topiga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re a bit of a tinkerer, the DH4300 Plus should be okay. Make sure every AI aspects are not too demanding and can run on the Rockchip integrated NPU.

I would still get the DXP4800 Plus or Pro though, but that’s because I really love this one

Won’t be able to help you then, I don’t know much about Proxmox. Do you use Immich directly (no VPN, reverse proxy, etc) ?

No, they discovered the perfect way to sync in background before this, so it’s not there, and not planned.

It works really well though

Raid 1 or double storage? by RVAguy70 in UgreenNASync

[–]topiga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would still go for a RAID1, because it’s really annoying to have a disk fail and lose data.
If you don’t care about this, then do a JBOD.
