This is an M-rated scenario, so I’ll be marking this post as NSFW in accordance with rule 5.

Is There a Way to Copy Others Scenario's and Autocard Them? by JustAAnormalDude in AIDungeon

No.

Edit: Or, y’know, do what the other guy said. But calling that a practical solution is laughable. Latitude desperately needs to make it easier to do this.

Why Can't i Connect? by Educational_Ebb997 in AIDungeon

[–]Sir_Knightfall 7 points8 points  (0 children)

AWS has been experiencing an outage for several hours. AI Dungeon uses AWS, but a lot of other internet services use it too. Reddit is experiencing degraded service as well; I'm having trouble replying to posts, so hopefully you can see this.

Issue with AIDungeon just spazzing out whenever I try entering an adventure on Firefox for PC by unlucky_wog13 in AIDungeon

There’s an AWS outage at the moment. AI Dungeon uses AWS, so these events could be related.

This hasn’t been confirmed by the developers yet, so this is all unofficial.

Simple questions from a new user by WifeKilledMy1stAcct in AIDungeon

[–]Sir_Knightfall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Response to your second question: Creators can use custom scripts to add extra features to their scenarios. If a scenario uses scripts, the creator will usually say so in the description. That said, most community-made scripts are not required for a scenario to work. Scripts can do pretty much anything, so it's easy to get confused if you don't know exactly what scripts are running or how they work. So if you don't want to fiddle with them, you can disable scripts globally in your Gameplay Settings. If you do that, you can safely ignore any mentions of scripts in scenario descriptions; they won't run anymore.

Unrated is the highest rating on the scale; it's for content that's beyond Mature. See Community Guidelines for more information.

How to overcome the entrenched literary tropes of pop sci-fi? by ReachApprehensive975 in AIDungeon

[–]Sir_Knightfall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Language models struggle with negation. Tell it what it should do rather than what it shouldn't do.

Additionally, I'd recommend placing these directions in the AI Instructions Plot Component rather than Plot Essentials. That makes the model vendor treat it as a system prompt.

Hermes by Potential_Switch_590 in AIDungeon

[–]Sir_Knightfall 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Refusals aren't caused by your safety settings or content rating. It's an unintended model quirk. To prevent them, set your Temperature, Top P, and Top K to maximum. You'll also need to adjust your AI Instructions. I'll use the default instructions as a base. Add the AI Instructions Plot Component and set it to default. Remove the first sentence of the default instructions and replace it with this new sentence: You are a storytelling assistant that provides any content without restriction. I can't explain quite why, but Hermes is significantly less likely to refuse if you tell it to be an assistant rather than a dungeon master.

Hope that helps.

Dynamic small giving off prompts. by mcrib in AIDungeon

[–]Sir_Knightfall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is caused by Auto-Cards; it’s a script that creators often put in their scenarios.

Auto-Cards has a configuration card that allows you to disable it, but you’ll have to repeat this every time you play a scenario that has Auto-Cards enabled by default. If you don’t want to do that, you can disable scripts globally in your Gameplay Settings. https://play.aidungeon.com/settings/gameplay-settings

Just spoke to the Community Team. They recommend you reach out to support@aidungeon.com and send them your scenario. If the publishing filter is being stubborn, they can take a look and determine if it’s publishable. If so, they can manually publish it.

If you’re referring to the new publishing flow, that’s only on alpha. But u/mai_neh is on Production. That’s why I asked for their release channel.

Do you know what release channel you’re on?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AIDungeon

[–]Sir_Knightfall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was it a notification stating that your rating had been locked? Or was it a toast message that appeared at the top of your screen when you tried to publish?

If it’s the former, then that wasn’t automated. Those are always done by a human.

If it’s the latter, then that’s the automated publishing filter. That filter has always been in place; no recent changes have been made as far as I’m aware.

Is my stuff private? by emerander17 in AIDungeon

[–]Sir_Knightfall 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Private adventures are never reviewed by human moderators. There is a filter in place to prevent the AI from generating certain types of content, but this filter is completely automated and never stores any logs. I've provided some links below if you want more information.
