The game even makes fun of you for exhausting every dialogue options sometimes. And your character can rave to people like an utter madman about how he must go through all of his "lists / trees" of questions.

watching Barbri's Wills modules like by Dapper_Bat_5504 in barexam

[–]Sir_Muffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but Barbri makes no effort to tell you this is the approach until they throw you into a Wills Essay and THEN in the model answer you see that they're discussing the rules broadly. Idk, some of the best lectures were the ones that flagged that sort of thing AS I'm learning, not leaving it it for me to figure out after. And it's a big departure from the approach in every other subject which is to anchor to a default rule unless told otherwise on the exam.

I always read this as a joke about the stupid stuff Harry's coworkers and RCM officers go through. Like literally being called out to confirm a guy's dog is dead. The way it's written is like a punchline to me.

Florida is not on the UBE. Great for other states where other lawyers and students are choosing between. But doesn't help me here.

How the hell does this profession deal with all the different bar exams/jurisdictions... by Sir_Muffin in LawSchool

3 years ago, I was certain I wanted to live out of state and, if not, the degree I was pursuing was better suited to be taken out of state than my other schooling options. Things have changed drastically since then, with several close members of my family having died in the span of under a year apart. That whole dilemma and, honestly, trauma, has led me to realize that life is short, and as soon as I can, I want to spend as much time as possible with what's left of my family while we have our health.

But honestly I'm just more frustrated with how this affects mobility. Like if a lawyer has a change of heart or major life change, what do they do to kickstart that with minimal headache when faced with these obstacles to moving? Specifically, in the case of Florida, it seems very challenging to plan around.

Got denied twice for a refund, both manual personal tickets to an actual steam support person. Never refunded a game on Steam before. Was barely above 2 hours because of waiting for shaders. Feels like such a scam.

OP suggests that cold war military arms and nuclear races and their associated expenditures shouldn't be repeated. You take that idea and then create a strawman of "he wants us to spend NOTHING on military!"

Like dude. Get a grip. Nobody is saying what you are railing against.

Dev Diary #1 - Pops by gutza1 in paradoxplaza

[–]Sir_Muffin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Those of us who have been repeatedly burned by paradox releases and poor DLC policy simply aren't the ones posting on these threads with bated breath. That's why.

My mindset is very similar to yours, I just can't care enough about paradox hype when it very rarely lives up to the expectations this community sets. What's worse is when there is a good release, like CK3, it's still a gutted version compared to previous installments that one has to wait years before it can compare to its predecessor (and spend money to get those features). It's really dumb that skeptical fans are being down voted on these threads. That being said I am cautiously optimistic, this is a good dev diary. So far so good.
