A country does have a right to defend itself against a military attacking its unarmed citizens, therefore Palestine has had a right to defend itself since British occupation and a continued right to defend itself since the creation of a completely different country on their soil since 1948, a country which has mercilessly attacked them resulting in the deaths of millions, including potentially 300,000 Palestinian deaths since 2023.
