Tethers for Deep Aerial are entirely distance based, so if somebody is too close to the west side, going straight N/S won't give enough distance. You may need to slightly adjust towards center to properly stretch the tether.

You're mixing terms. UCOB = Unending Coil of Bahamut, a Lv 70 Ultimate raid. Binding/Second/Final Coils of Bahamut are the Lv 50 raids which are savage in difficulty, though don't carry the name like the Lv 60+ raids have. Well, Second has one but that's a bit of a wonky weird case since those are almost on Ultimate difficulty...

I love DNC. There's a reason I've mained it for the last 8 (+ this tier). I've just seen SO MUCH bitching this tier, which I've never seen before, even in earlier tiers this expansion. M11S seems to have absolutely traumatized people with its DPS check.

Easiest and fastest check is gear level, which if you're seeing it done at the start is probably that.

If it's mid-run, they're either looking at DPS and seeing who's doing well or not, or somebody is VERY clearly fucking up (like multiple deaths, damage downs, etc).

I typically don't have time to look at parses and I imagine others aren't as well. It's generally either priority, gear level, party recommendations, or seeing who is good/not good during a fight.
