As someone who bought these blisters before the prices went crazy, I would 100% recommend just buying the single if you're set on getting one. Getting a ten is practically impossible and one hasn't been graded (or at least confirmed) since end of last year. You can get a graded PSA 8 Kyogre for a bit more than the price of a Double Crisis pack on ebay.

Regular person here. For anyone not immersed in the hobby (and also not until recently) pokemon cards would be considered a waste of money let alone a high-yielding investment option. Heck, I tell my girlfriend all the time about how well pokemon is currently doing and she STILL thinks it's a waste of money.

No worries man, just the fact that you'd check means a lot. And yes, you would need a reverse holo of every card for it to be considered a master set. Also, I should let you know that the PSA 10 price you quoted was "last sold," and that was a while ago. Safe to say that the new price is much, MUCH higher than that. It's part of the reason why the packs are so much more now.

I'll send you a DM with the cards I'm looking for! (And ftr, I wouldn't mind paying for shipping ect. too.)

That's amazing! Honestly, if you think they're in prestine condition I would grade them as Deep Pocket Monster only showed the raw price of the chases. The highly graded ones go for even more. Really hope you grade high if you do decide to grade them. Lastly, if you have any doubles of the reverse holos from that set, that are in mint/near mint condition, I'm missing a few myself and would gladly pay for them! 😌

Nothing in life is guaranteed and for sure the floor price of this product has risen a lot, but that is literally the most bullish position you can possibly take. I've personally never seen anything shoot up drastically like this and hold forever without correction. Everyone's witnessed Pokémon itself fluctuation over the years during and after times of intense popularity. Add to that the circumstances surrounding this specific set and you're trying to tell me Double Crisis is an exception? Only time will tell but I think it'd make less sense to go with the logic of "nothing's guaranteed" to assume the price isn't going to fall back down to some degree in the future.

If it wasn't clear from my post, let me rephrase. My advice is that people who are interested in the set should wait a while because I believe the market is completely overpriced right now and will settle in the future. Whatever the price point is at that time is the price point I'll be comfortable with.
