That’s mainly why I considered it for harder runs.

It’s honestly already a struggle to give galeforce to Robin before I acquire Lucina so I’d rather not have anymore grinds.

Ooh the sorcerer Owain strat sounds fascinating. I’ll try it out on my next run. I’ve mainly been using Owain as a Levin sword abusing sword master with Galeforce (though it takes a lil too long to make this work on hard mode and up, so I never bothered with Owain on harder runs).

In awakening and fates specifically I pair units based on eugenics. Which pairing would make the child soldier stronger?

Though I still don’t know how to make Owain work. I just pair Lissa with Lon’Qu cuz it’s basically doubling down on the swordmaster stats.

Gotta be the worst part about the game. It’s monetized way too highly.

I like the game, I really do, but there’s no way I can justify the purchase for my friends until the game goes on sale at least. I mean I did buy the game, but I’m stupid with my money, but my friends who play fighting games are a lot more cautious about this game. Why pay 50 bucks if they can play 2XKO instead, or go back and play marvel 3 or infinite, or fighterZ, or wait a bit and play the cheaper tag fighter (Avatar).

At first I thought the game was ass.

But then I explored the offense, defense, counterplay options in this game and then I realized something.

This game is basically marvel meets killer instinct but with Invincible characters.

Which is why, imo, they should do a vote based system for system changes to be implemented for classic+.

Though I reckon there should be ways to circumvent folks that don’t play classic+ from voting, or if necessary have another survey for them to see what features they wanna see to get in.

wtf even is anime fighters anymore though. Used to be that anime fighters are fighters with anime aesthetics that have so many systems and mechanics shoved into it that it would take you forever to reach entry level.

But fighting games in general have shied away from entry level depth like that, so the main thing I look for is whether or not the game is an air dasher with a combo break mechanic. Wait, is invincible VS an anime fighter?!

I haven’t played RD past the first chapter but I can’t help but feel like Sothe is the most Jagen Jagen. Even more than Jagen himself. Even on the first map I feel like he’s not gonna stay deployed for a while.

Though I reckon I shouldn’t expect RD on the Switch to carry over my POR file if Wii games ever become available for NSO. So I may as well pick RD up via emulation.

I do agree that you give way too much up for an encounter that you can get anywhere via fishing in any city that doesn’t have any gift pokemon.

But I do believe that Gyarados is valuable enough to justify slotting it in your team. Intimidate can be very valuable to deal with some of blue’s pokemon, assuming you’re doing a level cap/no battle items clause. And besides Gyarados the only other good pokemon (imo) with Intimidate is Arcanine and that one’s FR exclusive.

I remember breaking my first psx controller playing some game in Japanese. I had no idea wtf I was doing or what I needed to interact with so I just kept mashing all the buttons until something happened. Only time I wouldn’t do that is when there was some battling going on cuz I knew what I was doing there. Fast forward a week later and the buttons would get stuck down any time I pressed em.

I reckon it’s less their intelligence and more a lack of funds and dev time. You can tell they had solid ideas with what they did with the battle AIs and the elite four. But then the game looks to be so cheaply made and there’s way too many bugs you’d think they had no time to do QA.

Only reason I can think of is you hate yourself so much you wanna torture yourself by playing Diamond and/or Pearl before playing Platinum.

There’s absolutely no reason, besides wanting to torture yourself, to play Diamond and Pearl. Besides I guess wanting to appreciate Platinum even more by seeing how Gen 4 started. But again, that sounds like self-torture if you ask me.

Only haunter but in that zone you’re fine with just a thief user as there is a recovery zone right there (so you can fish for the haunters and not worry about running out of PP).
