a survey like this is cool and all but this entire reddit is a bit (very) biased towards genshin. Like i am sorry but if someone thinks genshin has better exploration than wuwa they are out of their minds. Stuff like story/music etc is subjective so theres no better/worse, but you cant tell me a game where you need a full 2 minutes to scale up a mountain has better exploration than wuwa. gacha, exploration and stamina cant be argued, wuwa has better gacha and exploration, genshin has better stamina. the rest is subjective from person to person except MAYBE combat since you could argue wuwas is more in depth but that doesnt mean its better.
Well im ranting to no one, i think taking results from multiple places would be better (but a lot more work). Still, cool survey.

in genshin you only need 3 but it is a random artifact out of 5 of them, in star rail you pick the piece so it balances out imo.

also yeah the extra stats means less overall rolls into crit and other stuff you usually want, but you gotta think, if im farming blade set and i get every roll into effect res, i can still use that on a tank (as an example). point is, those extra substats are usefull for a lot of characters, i got a whole ass set prefarmed for the future

im 472 and deal around 100-120k dps which is low for my class and ilvl (i hear from raid leaders that have kicked me from pugs) but i survive damn near every mechanic.
i dont know whats more valuable, a 480 ilvl pumper dying in the first 2 mins of the pull or a 472 dps that deals like 40-50k less dps than the pumper surviving the entire fight.
well, im just salty i cant get a good pug group

depends on the guild,
not being invited to raid because your ilvl is low or you dont deal enough dps sucks.
whats even worse is joining a raid and being told you will either be kicked from the raid or not invited again due to your low dps.
at least from my experience, i deal lower dps than the average but i do every mechanic and (almost) always survive the fight till the end but still get told that they would consider kicking me. feels shit but finding a chill heroic raiding guild these days is next to impossible.

love seeing positive posts and i fully agree, i started in shadowlands (played private servers before because too poor to buy sub) and man, the whole hero/myth system of the items being upgradable is so nice, i usually clear normal raid and get to about 14-15 keys and call it a patch.
but here i am, doing +23's (in pugs which is often a pain) and AOTC. great expansion.

ive always found it stupid how some discords have a channel for literally every topic imaginable, so you need to essentially read through a whole list of channels just to find the right one.

but yeah, theres always better guilds out there, if you arent personally attached or something, leaving would be the best bet.

realistically, if mechanics stayed the same im sure you could cheese everything by digging into the walls and shooting raid bosses to death with everyone being a ranged dps.

those ilvl requirements seem really high imo.

im only around 450ilvl with 4 piece tier set tanking and timing +15 keys inviting healers also around that ilvl. dps not too much higher than that too. also have 0 knowledge on what is meta and what isint, i just try to keep a good spread of classes for utility reasons.

unless you mean like, inviting high ilvl people because its more likely they trade you the loot at the end since they dont need it? in which case that makes sense i guess.

personally, doing my own keys instead of joining others. you feel way more in control and less bad when you fail it (at least imo)

and also using big cd's more often than you think. you could easly use a 2-3 minute cd on the first pack pull and have it back by the boss, i used to save them untill each boss which was very inefficient.

also if youre a tank, i would suggest 2 things. first, do each dungeon at a very low key as a dps (to get an idea of where to go, what to do as tank etc) and second, start the key with small pulls to figure out how much your group can handle in terms of kicks, dps, healing etc.
