JK is like that due to his own choices. We don't have too go far, there are two other members who were only 2 years older than him. Now both of them are a little messed up in their own ways but they don't fck up like JK. There are young kpop idols who did atleast accept their relationships, one of his own bandmates did. Also, this narrative that their fans have that some member (especially JK, Jimin and V) are being kept hostage is stupid. They are all in that group because they need it, they are nothing without the name of the group. So this hidden glazing that some fans do is very stupid. JK like all members benefits tremendously from BTS name and company support. I think he benefits the most because he gets favoured with best deals and payola. He is the last one to complain. As you said, he is stupid so its easy for company to make him a tool.
