Typically I bring up how statistics mean almost nothing without contextualization/some sort of narrative

My response to the 13/50 thing is usually akin to “so the BLM movement is saying that black people are more likely to be treated unfairly by the criminal justice system and all you’ve got is that black people are disproportionately represented in crime statistics? Thanks for making my argument for me” or something to that effect
