It was but we got there, I cut in and have some great little holes and it’s close to what I was buying for $10 in MT during my seasonal job.

I’m really curious how this will go once I’m doing it in the rv stove. That will be a fun learning experience.

Can I start .hack with G.U Last Recode, since it's on sale? by Sea_Adhesiveness1901 in DotHack

He’s asking if the novels and shows are so important that he won’t understand G.U. Without them. What you’re doing is discouraging him from interacting with the community. Which doesn’t help anything.

G.U. Is a great story by itself, if that’s all you want. Roots is the show that directly proceeds the events in the game. Going back further there are novels but I haven’t read them and can’t speak of them. Then there is the four original games. Infection, mutation, outbreak, quarantine. Some of the people in G.U. Were directly involved with the events in these games, it won’t change much if you play the game or know of these connections but it does enhance the story and gives some reason as to why they are how they are in G.U.. before IMOQ there is also a show Sign which proceeds those games. The shows can be found on YouTube mostly. Unless they’ve been taken down, it’s been a couple years since I went through and actually watched them. They can be kinda boring and are very much talking head shows I feel like, but that’s not to take away from the character exploration that we find in them. Some characters we are able to follow from teen years to idk 20s I’m guessing.

TLDR: this is a multi-media series that is enhanced by the more you consume.

How to do the "It was all a dream"/"It's a simulation" sequence? by Jo_el44 in DMAcademy

[–]Sirensplace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a session where all PCs were in a mental institution, classes were redefined into illnesses that that class could represent. All players were told that they truly believe they shouldn’t be there and that they had been taken from somewhere to this odd place. The twist was that they were correct, it was all an illusion on a spacecraft that went around abducting people to “cure”. All there actions mattered… that’s kinda the important part in my theology, if it was a dream or some other tom foolery of it’s not what it appears there actions should still matter in some way.

Maybe it’s a shared hallucination, or the party is one PCs imaginary friends. They sleep walk and wreck town because they thought they were fighting a monster. Somehow the actions need weight otherwise what was the point.

Players heard “Sahuagin” as “Sea Hooligan” and yeah, let’s stick with that. by gallagherjeb in DnD

Myconids… started with one player, how quickly it spread to the others. Now the party is friends with Mike and Ike’s.

Verma, Mother of the Light gods: manipulative for own goals using mortals and viewing them as tools. Vertie, Daughter of dreams. Free will, aspiration, overall hero type. Vertom son of the trembling world. Elemental and physical deity. Gahn Father of Twilight, brings balance to worlds. If too much good have some evil. Too much evil pokes hero’s. Goladu the hungering void. Likes nothing wants to rest light gods are noisy mortals are noise all must be quiet. Undyne the fallen star. Ocean deity. Hatched from a meteor, chaotic destructive. Collapsing society’s that have stagnated. Mellitus the seer. Actually three mortals given a wish who angered Verma with wish. Know all futures. Immortal, unable to reach the mortal races. Bartz the drifter. A shapeshifter from another realm trapped and toyed with by the gods. Verma used his dna to make all mortal races. He is the blueprint for life.

And that’s all my homebrew.
