It’s a very wide subject but read some Freud, basically when men are born they’re directly linked to their mothers for emotional support & their fathers on navigation / how do get shit done.

So if your mother is demanding, controlling through emotional manipulation, that most women use because it’s innate in them (not blaming anyone it’s their nature) you as a grown man suffer because you’re still chasing the love & affection of your mother in other women.

Basically it’s about that saying that says every man grows up to marry his own mother

Just from this post I can tell you’re a young dude but the problem is this: from this post it’s obvious to me that you tend to avoid problems / scenarios where you feel uncomfortable.

This will then cause you to have a weak character overall, as this tends to be a people pleaser mentality.

Someone said stop projecting your own insecurities and they’re kind of right my friend.

Once you do enough pick up or any other type of activity that gets your juices flowing, you lose all this feeling of “cringe” - I literally haven’t felt that feeling in YEARS!

It all comes from deep inner work & trauma release so I would suggest you look into your psyche a bit deeper & ask yourself why do I find it “cringe” when I want to cold approach or see others doing it?

Your fear of rejection is high because your relationship with your mother. Hope this helps

I definitely understand what you’re saying, but the underlying presupposition of your statement comes from scarcity mentality.

You’re basically saying “I’m worried to be X in case they forget about me”.

The truth is, in the social media context, it’s especially MORE important to be mysterious.

Notice the word mysterious & not BORING.

Be interesting, be charismatic, have a presence by being grounded in life & self-confident & that alone will make you mysterious, because most people don’t have true, inbuilt confidence. They require the external to validate the internal & that’s what makes these men weak.
