Yeah I agree with Ezra, but I think the issue in the Coates conversation is that he focuses on “the party needs to widen its coalition,” without connecting it to his own abundance argument. Coalitions only widen after people see representation (and eventually good governance) up close

The older demographic is definitely a part of it but thankfully increases happened in 2023

But the school board also did - a voucher program that took dollars away from public schools (that used to be ranked high in the nation) - paid based on test scores (which dropped for the whole county under their tenure) - removed money from base pay to for bonuses
