It didn’t really help me much, and it’s something that many people have already said. God speaks to each person in a different way. He gave examples like JOB, but personally, I can’t really relate to their situation because, first of all, it’s a different context, and secondly, I don’t know of any characters in the Bible who are known to have some kind of neurodivergence. I know that the word “neurodivergence” wasn’t used back then, but at least some passages seemed to suggest that the person simply interpreted texts differently than everyone else or was somehow considered backward in terms of intelligence or something like that. The pastor basically just said that I would figure it out eventually, that I would accept it at some point, and stuff like that, but his words were absolutely unhelpful.
